Artificers (Typeface)

I designed Artificers in 2015 as a creature-like rounded font inspired by old cartoons and toys. Artificers was designed in Adobe Illustrator and made ready for type in Glyphs. Collectively, my typefaces have been downloaded and used over 200.000 times.

Artificers used a variation of uppercase to introduce quirky eyeballs to make the font more playful. You can add as many or as few eyes as you like.

Each individual letter was kerned in Glyphs and fine-tuned according to a large test set of words and phrases. Artificers includes a large set of special characters, numbers, punctuation marks, and symbols.

Artificers typeset in Glyphs

Artificers is designed to be a quirky playful type, specifically to use to decorate, label or brand. It is not designed to be particularly legible or suitable for large bodies of text. Below you can find a few examples.

You can download Artificers here along with my other fonts. It is free for personal use and contains over 99 glyphs.
